WOW thats some interleaving depth....... i've never seen over 64 before.... does its job though you have NO errors lol. Did you ask them to look at your line? if it was working fine before and you was happy i would ask them to put it back as it was! but 10mbps is not to be sniffed at, wish i could get that <dreams> lol

Looking at the upstream sync rate it seems you've been put on DLM.

You'll need to be put through to Customer Solutions, and ask them to disable DLM and:

1. Lift the Upstream sync rate cap
2. Set the target SNR to 6.0dB
3. Decrease the Interleave Delay / Interleave Depth as low as the system allows

You should then be hot to trot!

Good luck, and keep us posted ;)

They still haven't lifted your upstream rate cap.

If you want your upstream connection speed increased (should support about 1100K not 767K it is connected at now), you can ask to speak to customer solutions again, requesting that they leave the interleave depth at a low level, leave the SNR at 6.0dB, but also put you on a 20Meg / 1.3Meg profile as this is what you are paying for.

If however the upstream doesn't bother you, or more likely isn't worth the hastle of Sky's ever-so-wonderful support, then kudos! Great improvement for a phone call, eh? ;)

You need to get onto Sky again, if this hasn't been resolved...
Bitrate (Up/Down) [kbit/s]: 1,317 / 18,360
Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 12.0 / 25.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 7.0 / 3.0

There's nothing wrong with those stats matey, you're ona 28dB line so even if you were put on to a upto 24 mbit package with no cap you wouldn't connect at that speed.

I've seen better speeds for 28dB lines but all lines are different. You're simply getting the best speed your line is capable of ;)

Your Downstream Interleaved Depth is too high - ask them to alter this...
Bitrate (Up/Down) [kbit/s]: 1,317 / 18,360
Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 12.0 / 25.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 7.0 / 3.0
